The SMS library is open before and after school hours.

There are more than 3,000 books available including fiction, non-fiction,  biographies plus much more for students to explore and check out for reading. Also, there are dictionaries, encyclopedias and other references in different subject areas such as Authors, Careers, Science and History etc., all available for research in the library. The library has a mini-computer lab. There are 14 computers available for research, along with two other computers with library catalog information which are helpful for students to locate the books in our library.

Students have the opportunity to read newspapers and keep up with current affairs.  Currently, The Porterville Recorder, the Fresno Bee, and the San Francisco Chronicle are available for students to read and enrich their knowledge.
